*You need to be 2 people to do this trek, if less it’s still possible for extra fees (+700,000 IDR / +45€ / +52$ per booking). Possibility to book it as a private trek if you’re 4 people or by paying the fare of 4 people. Be aware that some of our other guests might join your group if you do a normal booking (max 6)
UNFORGETTABLE JOURNEY
Enjoy a short jungle trekking experience in Bukit Lawang, Gunung Leuser National Park.
The adventure starts at 9:00 AM with a meeting at your guesthouse in Bukit Lawang, the trek begins along natural forest trails. With some luck, you may see semi-wild and wild Sumatran orangutans, along with other wildlife such as monkeys and birds.
During the trek, enjoy a break with fresh tropical fruits while relaxing in the jungle. The journey then continues downhill to the river, where the experience ends with a fun river rafting ride along the Bohorok River back to Bukit Lawang.
All wildlife encounters are ethical — no feeding, no touching.
